Happy 1st Birthday Ana

Today is Ana's first birthday! We have been celebrating constantly for the past few days and today was no exception! It's Tuesday, so mom and dad both had work! The morning started quietly with a little balloon playtime before breakfast. Big girl is one year old now!!!

For dinner we met up with Ana's former babysitter and family for dinner. The Garza's are also good friends to us now also!

A Wise Christmas

While the family was in town for birthday festivities, we also had Christmas! My parents took us to The Gristmill in Gruene for dinner. It was the first time for my parents to eat there since we moved to town. It did not disappoint, good as always!

Back at home after bathtime we opened presents. After opening birthday presents the day before, Ana knew how the whole present thing worked now! She loves bows and tissue paper! In this picture she is wearing a cute backpack from my mom.

So many great gifts! Ana is going to be so spoiled! Thanks Aunt Val for the season passes to the Children's Museam, we are so excited to go all next year!

Ana's BEARY special 1st Birthday Party

We had a little birthday party for Ana at our home in New Braunfels. We had both sets of grandparents, Uncle Brett from San Francisco, Aunt Cristy and all Ana's cousins from San Antonio and Lola (Ana's birthday buddy - she is 3 days older than Ana). It was perfect! We had brunch, chocolate cupcakes, pinata, and presents! Ana loved the cupcake so much she cried when we took it away, but forgot as soon as she saw all the fun outside with the pinata! Later Saturday afternoon we went to Lola's birthday party. Unfortunately today we found out Lola now has RSV, so we are hoping and praying that we don't get it for our birthday too!

Our church is having a live nativity. We bundled up to check it out. Ana was mesmerized, she did not want to leave. The Christmas season is such a wonderful time, we are looking forward to all the upcoming family gatherings and celebrations at church.
